About RACER

RACER stands for Rapid Access to Collections by Electronic Requesting.
The system
allows library card holders from all 21 Ontario university libraries to search across multiple catalogues and place an interlibrary loan (ILL) request. RACER also helps interlibrary loan staff manage loan and borrowing requests by automating ordering procedures and communication with users.

RACER is a service of Scholars Portal, funded by the Ontario Council of University Libraries.
This guide was created by Scholars Portal to help end-users navigate the RACER interface.
