About odesi
<odesi> (Ontario Data Documentation, Extraction Service and Infrastructure) is a digital repository for social science data, including polling data. It is a web-based data exploration, extraction and analysis tool that uses the Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) social science data standard. <odesi> was developed from 2007 to 2009 as a jointly funded project between the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) and OntarioBuys. As of October 2009, the <odesi> project becomes an ongoing service within Scholars Portal. As of 2011, <odesi> was opened by subscription to other institutions. The metadata (catalogue) remains open.
